A journey...

I was kind of reserve guy, did not roam much. My current job’s profile is contrast to what I was to be. Travelling is a necessary part of my job profile. Even though there are both pros and cons for travelling, I started loving it. Difficulty, once it become familiar, vanishes.
Journeys are filled up with many exciting experiences, half of it covers with day dreams. The most painful situation is when train was late by 12 hours. Whom to blame? Cursing on faith is what we do. And at last convert it into smile and share with friends. One benefit out of 12 hour late is, at least we have a story to tell to our friends. Looking outside the window and dueling with dreams is what I often do while travelling. Apart from it, looking the small world existing inside the train is also a wonderful thing to see and enjoy. The loud sound of “chai and coffee” makes the place lively. If a newly born baby travel in Indian train, the first word comes out from his mouth would be “chai lelo chai”, not mama and papa.

Every place has its own uniqueness. Uniqueness is nature’s law. What to do? We have to live in uniqueness. Uniqueness is the only thing that is not unique. Our wondering mind starts roaming very fast, thousands of new pictures captured. Many got erased and many saved. With lots of question and predicted answers, life goes on. New place become old place. New stories create and old stories kept in memory folder. And I keep travelling to new places and new situations.

Even though the purpose of the journey is to reach the defined destination, real meaning of travelling lies in the journey. There is fear due to newness, worry because of unknown. It is natural, it is okay to fear, and it is okay to worry because happiness lies next to fear and worry. I know where I am going but I do not know where exactly my destination lies. Auto driver can only assist me; it is I who has to decide where I am going exactly. World is so big, too many confusions, every road looks alike. My trust towards Indian railway, bus driver and auto driver helps me to reach my destination. Every journey consists of both pains and happiness. The importance is, in what I give more emphasis, happiness or pains. I feel pain when I start thinking of more about obstacles rather than the beauties of journey. Problem in journey never ends and we find more if we start searching it. What we get is what we searched. When train is late by 12 hours we were still calm with the hope that we will reach definitely. What would happen if we knew we cannot reach our destination? The belief and trust we possess make us calm, that is where our patience work and build our self confidence.
Journey of life is not much different from travelling to new places.
